About Me
Since earning an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Manchester in 1998, I’ve delivered solutions across sectors and scales – from global banks and blue-chip enterprises to NGOs, start-ups, and growth brands.
This breadth of experience means my clients benefit from fresh, effective solutions grounded in decades of proven practice. I specialise in the full lifecycle of designing and delivering scalable, reliable, and future-ready systems.
My background spans grid computing, microservices, serverless platforms, and heavily multi-threaded architectures, all built for mission-critical environments where speed, security, and resilience are non-negotiable.
At the heart of my career is a commitment to shaping a better IT industry. Alongside technical delivery, I invest in coaching and mentoring, equipping future leaders with the tools to thrive while inspiring positive change across organisations.
I am particularly passionate about creating greater balance in the sector, championing diversity, and especially advancing women in technology, so the industry better reflects the society it serves.

Technical Consultancy & Architecture as a Service
I bring over 25 years of global software engineering, IT architecture, and delivery experience to organisations seeking clarity and momentum. Alongside full project delivery, I also work in fractional roles, providing organisations with the right expertise at the right time, without the need for a full-time commitment.
By combining deep technical knowledge with a pragmatic approach, I help businesses design and implement solutions that deliver real-world results. My role is to simplify complexity and enable progress where it matters most.
Executive Coaching & Mentoring
As a qualified and EMCC-accredited Executive Coach and Mentor, I work with leaders, teams, and individuals to unlock potential, create meaningful change, and grow the next generation of industry leaders.
My approach blends coaching with mentoring, offering both space for reflection and practical guidance from experience. I aim to help clients gain perspective, build confidence, and achieve their goals with purpose and resilience.
Insights on Technology Delivery, Innovation, and People
This is more than content, it’s about shaping insights that drive real impact. A key part of this work is supporting and developing the next generations of technologists, equipping them with the curiosity, confidence, and skills to build the future we all depend on.
Why Bridge These 3 Worlds?
Technology and leadership don’t exist in isolation. By combining consulting, coaching, and creating content, I bring together technical expertise, personal development, and shared knowledge, to address the full spectrum of challenges organisations face. This integrated approach ensures solutions are not only well-designed but also understood, adopted, and sustained.
For the industry, creating and sharing insights extends the impact beyond individual projects. By contributing knowledge and nurturing the next generation of technologists, we strengthen the wider ecosystem, ensuring that today’s challenges fuel tomorrow’s innovation. This cycle of consult, coach, and create, builds momentum not just for one organisation, but for the future of the field.
Committed to Professional Excellence
I believe that if I am to support others and give back to the industry, I must do so from a place of integrity, curiosity, and ongoing development. Becoming a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) and an EMCC-accredited Coach and Mentor reflects more than professional achievement, it represents my commitment to continual learning and personal growth. These accreditations are part of how I hold myself accountable: ensuring that when I guide, mentor, or advise, I do it to the highest standard, with both technical depth and human understanding.
Let's Talk
My approach brings together consulting to solve problems, coaching to grow people, and creating to give back. This unique blend is my superpower, shaped by decades of experience across industries, projects, and people. If you want to partner with someone who can bring both breadth and depth to your challenges, I’d love to hear from you 👇.
